The original colors were too plasticky for my liking. so I took the bastard brush to him.

It is amazing what little paint can do to a bland figure.

Take that, Hasbro!

UPDATE: Curiouser as I decided to add some extentions that make him looked like God Ginrai from the Masterforce series.  Thing makes him tons better :D

With shoulder mounted cannon, customed from Energon Rodimus

The added leg extension made him more stable to my surprise.

I will be updating him often as I think I am not done yet. So stay tuned!

Now with lights! I'll say that the blue light is just beautiful :D

With less than RM150, you get 2 sets of blue LED guns and extra parts for the guns to be used with multitude of TF figures.

And one more thing, a word of caution - The blue lights are hot and it sears the eyes. I learnt that the hard way.

Damn, my eyes hurt.

Voyager Recon Ironhide and Bludgeon

After 5 hours of painting and multiple coat and base application, it is done.

Here is Ravage in his full glory. The multiple coating gives Ravage a textured effect on the body and realistic weathering to compliment the metal base.

Paint used - Mr Color : Iron + Stainless (As base), Silver (2nd and 4th coat), Metallic black (3rd coat), gold (touch ups) and drybrushing for  weathered texture.
